  • The parsonage, built in 1702 for the first minister, Rev. Thomas Symmes, and occupied from 1708, by Benjamin's father, became Benjamin's home. It stood on the site the Holyoke barn stood in 1906.1
  • Benjamin Rogers was baptized on October 24, 1714, son of Rev. John and Susannah (Marston) Rogers.1
  • Benjamin married Alice Perley, daughter of Isaac Perley and Frances (?), on October 11, 1734.1

  • Charles F. Rogers was born on August 26, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts, Charlie graduated from Pembroke Academy and attended NHTI and the Manchester Institute of Arts and Sciences.1
  • He was the son of Keith P. Rogers and Helen Freeman.1
  • Charles married Maureen Hyde of Pembroke in 1969 or 1970.1
  • Charles died on November 16, 2011 in Concord Hospital, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 66 He was a lifelong Pembroke resident.

    He had worked as a graphic artist for the Concord Monitor for 27 years and also for Vermillion in Derry. He was a US Army Reservist, having served with the 368th Engineering Battalion.

    Mr. Rogers was a member of the First Congregational Church of Pembroke and was part of the Pierce Brigade, a volunteer group at the Pierce Manse in Concord. He was also a member of the Lakes Region Corvette Club and the proud owner of a red Corvette.

    Mr. Rogers loved Broadway shows, traveling and spending time at the beach house in York Beach and his winter home in Florida. He also enjoyed sports, whether it was golfing with friends, coaching his daughter's soccer or softball teams, or watching his favorite NY Yankees.1
  • He was buried in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1
