  • Amos married Laura Matilda Prescott on August 27, 1851.1
  • In 1853, Amos Hadley moved to at Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, and in connection with Cyrus Barton, published for several years the "State Capital Reporter," a Republican newspaper.1
  • In January, 1857, Amos Hadley entered into company with George G. Fogg, Esq., for the publication of the "Independent Democrat," also a Republican newspaper.1
