Lucy Lee1

  • Lucy Lee was born on July 8, 1770, daughter of Capt. Samuel and Agnes (Dickenson) Lee.1
  • Lucy married Joel Griswold, son of Thomas Griswold and Hannah Cruttenden, in 1790. They were members of the Congregational Church in Guilford.1
  • After her husband died on July 19, 1835, Lucy made her home with her daughter, Clarissa Scranton.1
  • Lucy died on March 24, 1854 at age 83. Her will, Nov. 21, 1846, Guilford Probate Records, mentions her son Joel and daughter Clarissa Scranton.1
