- He was executor and residuary legatee and devisee under his father's will, proved in 1799, and was apparently still a resident of Newbury in the final settlement of the estate in 1811.2
- About 1812, Amos Hale and Elizabeth Plumer moved to Campton, Grafton County, New Hampshire. His name appears on the tax-lists of Campton for real estate and poll, 1813-26 inclusive.2
