  • David G. Skillings was born about October 8, 1820 in North Yarmouth, Maine, son of Isaac and Susan B. Skillings.2
  • David married Susan B. Colby, daughter of Symmes Sawyer Colby and Louisa Ordway, on December 10, 1851 in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was a carriage maker. They were married by Joseph Merrill, a Congregational pastor.3
  • In 1853, David G. Skillings was a wheelwright.4
  • On January 3, 1853, David G. Skillings was mentioned on the birth record of David Skillings.4
