  • Lawrence married Georgia Elizabeth Collins, daughter of Thomas Kirkwood Collins and Belle Helen Colby, in 1972. After she married Lawrence, they served a mission in South Africa from1983 to 1984; served in the Salt Lake Temple as an assistant supervisor; and in many church callings including her ward Relief Society presidency and as ward choir director. She had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, from which she never wavered.1
  • Lawrence died on July 21, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 91.2
