- Jonathan Blaisdell was a blacksmith. He succeeded to his father's homestead, located in that part of Salisbury which in 1668 was incorporated as the town of Amesbury. He taught school and served in various town offices, and was a man of prominence in the community.2
- Jonathan married Hannah Jameson, daughter of John Jameson and Esther Martin, in 1698.3
- Jonathan died in 1748. Administration on his estate was granted on November 28 1748. His real estate was divided in 1750.4,2
