The census of 1870 shows:
Daniel Wheeler, 36, a farmer; in the household of
George Wheeler, 63, a farmer with $5000 real estate and $1825 personal estate; and
Asenath Wheeler, 58, keeping house;
living at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³
Daniel married Eliza H. Robinson on May 27, 1871 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, as his first wife. They were married by Rev. A. E. Drew, pastor of Saint Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church.⁴
Daniel married Esther N. Wheeler on September 18, 1878 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, as his second wife, and her second husband.⁵
The census of 1880 shows: Daniel Wheeler, a farmer; and Esther N. Wheeler, |also in the family, George M. Robertson, age 33, a farmer, born in NH;
living at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁶
The census of 1910 shows: Daniel Wheeler, 78, widower, farmer; listed with Edwin A. Colby and Charlotte E. Colby
living at Hackett Hill Rd., Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁷
Daniel died on December 5, 1917 in New Hampshire State Hospital, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 84.²
He was buried in Alexander Cemetery on River Road, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, along with Eliza H. Robinson and Esther N. Wheeler.⁸

Ephraim Wheeler was born on June 6, 1678 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.²
He was the son of Sgt. Thomas Wheeler and Sarah Beers.¹
Ephraim married Elizabeth Spalding on April 20, 1698 in Concord, Massachusetts, the ceremony performed by the Rev. Joseph Estabrook.

After living three years in Concord, Ephraim and Elizabeth joined their Spalding relatives and others leaving Concord and Chelmsford to settle in Plainfield, Conn.³
In 1725, Plainfield was visited by a "very distressing sickness and great mortality," so that they could not get help among themselves to attend the sick but were obliged to rely upon other towns for aid. About twenty persons were buried in town within a few months, including some of its first and leading citizens.. Ephraim Wheeler died on April 19, 1725 in Plainfield, Connecticut, at age 46.^3,4
