Zachariah Cary was born on January 4, 1713.²
He was the son of Ephraim Cary and Hannah Waldo.²
Zachariah married Susanna Bass on November 11, 1742, came to the North Parish soon after the marriage, and lived on the place that, in 1866, was occupied by Rufus P. Kingman.²
Zachariah died on September 5, 1788 at age 75, in his 76th year.³
He was buried in Main Street Cemetery, North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Massachusetts.³

Between 1812 and 1814 Zenas Cary served in the War.¹
