  • Sarah Lummus of Ipswich was born perhaps 1704.
  • Sarah married David Perley, son of Samuel Perley and Abigail Cummings, on September 22, 1768.1
  • Sarah died in May, 1803, childless. She lived as provided for by the will of her husband. Her will, which is signed with "her mark", is dated 14 May 1801. She bequeathed property to Lydia, wife of Isaac Burpee, and to Lucy, wife of Jonathan Foster, whom she ordained sole executor. The instrument, witnessed by Francis Pingrey, Aaron Howe and Jacob Perley, was proved 7 Jun 1803, and is recorded in Essex Registry, 70: 244.2
