  • John Bruen of Bruen-Stapleford, Esq. was born in 1560 "2nd son but 1st surviving son and heir."3
  • He was the son of John Bruen or Bruyn Esq. and Dorothy Holford.2,3
  • His earlier years were passed in private education at Dutton, after which his father sent him to Oxford, in which University he resided as gentleman commoner of Alban Hall from 1574 to 1580.3
  • John Bruen of Bruen-Stapleford, Esq. was baptized on September 19, 1567 in St. Andrew's Church, Tarvin, Cheshire, England.4
  • John married Elizabeth Hardware in 1580, as his first wife, and her second husband.5,6
  • John married Anne Fox, daughter of William Fox and Margaret Orrell, as his second wife.7
  • John Bruen of Bruen-Stapleford, Esq. and Margaret Allen obtained a marriage license on May 13, 1612., as his third wife, and her second husband.5
  • John died on January 18, 1625/26 in Bruen-Stapleford, Cheshire, England.3,4
