Olive Brown1
b. November, 1853
- Olive Brown was born in November, 1853 in Ohio.1
- Olive married Daniel Silliman Neal, son of Samuel Clements Neal and Asenath L. Mathews, on April 28, 1880 as his second wife.2
- The census of 1900 shows: Daniel S. Neal, 51, a farmer; and Olive Neal, 46, mother of one child, still living;
living at McDina, Peoria County, Illinois.
Also living there was Anne Brown, born Feb 1814, a widow. She is listed as "mother," but was probably was "mother-in-law," as she was born in New Jersey, which was shown as the birthplace of Olive's mother. Both of Daniel's parents were listed as having been born in New Hampshire. I have listed Olive's surname as "Brown" on the basis of this supposition.1
