'A telegram was received by friends in this city conveying the sad news of the death of Mrs. Jonathan Taylor, a former resident of this city, which occurred at her home at Fall Brook station, California, today. Mrs. Taylor has been ill for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were among the early settlers of Morrison county, and lived in this city about twenty-five years. They left this place for California about seven years ago, and have resided there ever since. The deceased is a sister of Mrs. E. G. Hill, of this city. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. R. J. Richardson, the latter living near them in California. Mrs. Taylor had many friends in this city, who will deeply mourn her demise.'
