Helen Elizabeth Cundiff

b. April 20, 1918
  • The following is notated in a GEDCOM file named STEWA.GED:

"Oldest sister's name was Helen. She came to stay with Grandma when mom was born at Vivian W.Va.

Mom has a faint memory of a chicken with new chicks. She remembers her dad coming in and saying something killed the baby chicks. Her dad told her mom 'Don't let Helen go out there something killed the baby chicks.' She ran out and can't remember anything else. She looks like her dad.

"Mom remembers that his oldest sister Helen came to visit them once in Vivian. Maybe she is in the United States. Also need to check in Roanoke, Virginia to see if he lived there. Mom also remembers something about him living in foster homes. Mom also remembers that she was named after his sister Helen. Grandma told her she was named after her because she was 'so nice when she visited.'"
  • Helen Elizabeth Cundiff was born on April 20, 1918 in Vivian, McDowell County, West Virginia.
