Richard Hale, Jr., of Newbury, blacksmith, and wife Sarah, conveyed to Joseph Knight 15 rods of land in Newbury, bounded by Noyes Hidden and Nicholas Jackson (Jackman?) 27 Sept 1750 (97: 66).4 - Richard Hale, Jr., blacksmith, and wife Sarah, and Benjamin Gage, shipwright, of Newbury, and Stephen Hale and wife Elizabeth, conveyed to Daniel Dole of Newbury about 12 rods of land with buildings, bounded south-easterly on Chandlerâ's lane or King street, 48 feet, 26 Nov 1770 (131: 128).
Richard Hale of Newbury, mariner, conveyed to Patrick Tracy of Newburyport, merchant, one-half a house where grantor resided in Newbury on Merrimack street, the other part owned by Samuel Hale, next to heirs of Joseph Knight and Joseph Hidden, both deceased, 24 Sept 1771. (MEM.- The Jr. seems to have been omitted here for the first time) (129: 150).5
