Addison A. Latham was born on June 15, 1814 in Saint Johnsbury, Caledonia County, Vermont.
Addison A. Latham was was a stage driver on a route between Portland and Shelburne, N.H. He became a dispatcher (later a conductor) on the opening of the Atlantic and St. Lawrence RR, where he worked till he died.¹
Addison married Abigail Bartlett Holt, daughter of Daniel Holt and Mary or Polly Hale, in 1836.
The census of 1850 shows: A. A. Latham, 35, a stage driver; and Abby B. Latham, 34; listed with Caroline A. Latham, George A. Latham and Daniel H. Latham
living at Norway, Oxford County, Maine.²
Married secondly Maria M. Lawrence of Yarmouth. She died Oct. 23, 1855.^1,3
Addison died on January 12, 1873 in Yarmouth, Cumberland County, Maine, at age 58.
He was buried in Norway Pine Grove Cemetery, Paris, Oxford County, Maine.⁴
