Sophia married John Day Howard Jr., son of Capt. John Day Howard and Lucy Clark, on October 19, 1807 in Westford, Massachusetts.⁴
The census of 1850 shows:
Sophia Howard, 64; in the household of
William H. Howard, 41, a sea captain with $2000 real estate; and
Harriet M. Howard, 31;
living at Watertown, Massachusetts.⁵
Sophia died on April 6, 1851 at age 66.⁶
She and John Day Howard Jr. were buried in Common Street Cemetery, Watertown, Massachusetts, along with Sophia H. Howard.⁷
