George married Eldora A. Colby, daughter of Caleb Austin Colby and Julia Ann Colby, on January 17, 1874 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
George Frank Reed and Eldora A. Colby were divorced before 1880, and Eldora returned to her maiden name.¹
