Also living there was his niece, Irene Farris, 13, attending school; and a roomer, Grace Cleaves, 26, a public school teacher.⁸

The census of 1940 shows: Eva M. Littlefield, 71;
living at Lowell, Massachusetts.
Also living there was lodger, Grace Cleaves, 55, a dressmaker with 1939 income of $850. The home was owned, valued at $5000.¹⁰
