  1. I have no proof of this relationship. Augustus Roys was in partnership with Augustus Smith, who was the son of Asher Smith. Asher Smith's gravestone is directly behind the stones of Augustus and Lucy Roys. Asher, probably born 1757, according to his tombstone, would be a reasonable age to be the father of Lucy.
