  • 'Besides fitting out at several times her son, Theodore, who commanded a company of horse, for the battlefield, she made with her own hands and gave at different times five blankets to the destitute American soldiers.3'
  • Mary died on October 25, 1815 in Goshen, Connecticut, at age 92.1
