    He was elected hogreave 1735. In 1751 the constable was allowed for the taxes of Ebenezer Hinckley for 1750 showing he left town. He was a mariner or trader..

    S.P.63-349, Sep.14,1764 - Ebenezer Hinckley of Boston, blacksmith, made administrator of late father Ebenezer Hinckley of Braintree, mariner, deceased & bonded with John Haldan, brazier & Dimond Morton, tallow chandler, both of Boston.

    65-113, Inventory, Oct.15,1764:
    1 acre & 1/2 an old house very much out of repair £16; a pew in Northmeeting house £3, by Jonathan Rawson, Wm. Adams, Edmund Billings.

    65-347, Aug.29,1766 - Ebenezer Hinckley of Boston, blacksmith, guardian to John over 14 & Ann over 14 & bonded with Thomas Hinckley of Boston,cordwainer.

    65-432 - Settlement of R.E., Nov.28,1766 - R.E. not capable of division & is settled on Ebenezer, oldest son & pay his brothers & sisters Eliphalet, Thomas, John, Mary, Hannah & Ann Hinckley or legal representatives.3
  • According to tradition, he died in the West Indies.4
