  • Hester Weare was born in 1628 or 1629, daughter of Nathaniel Weare (see note.)1,2
  • Hester married Capt. Benjamin Swett, son of John Swett and Sarah (?), on November 1, 1647 in Newbury, Massachusetts, as her first husband.1
  • Hester married on March 31, 1678 Ensign Steven Greenleaf of Newbury. The family probably removed to Newbury, upon their mother's marriage to Mr Greenleaf of that place.3,4
  • Hester died on January 16, 1718 in Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, aged eighty-nine years.1
