Mary Chapman was born on May 18, 1777. The book shows this Mary being born in 1777, but her sister Mary not dying until 1779. Is this right?¹
She was the daughter of Joseph Chapman and Mary Perley.¹
She married Isaiah Smith and lived in Ipswich, Massachusetts.¹
Mary died on November 1, 1858 at age 81, probably of internal cancer.¹

Mary died on September 19, 1779 at age 7.¹

Olive married Jeremiah Ellsworth, son of Daniel Ellsworth and Dorcas Foster, on October 14, 1828 in Ipswich, Massachusetts, (published 13 Sept.)¹
Olive died on September 17, 1861 in Rowley, Massachusetts, at age 54.¹

Roswell Shurtleff Chapman was born in 1823, son of Roswell Chapman.¹
He and Augusta Day published their marriage intention on October 13, 1844 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, as her first husband.²
Roswell died on November 15, 1848 in Bradford, Massachusetts, of consumption. He was a shoemaker.³
