    living at Ward 4, Albany, Albany County, New York.2

  • John Hynckleye was born perhaps 1513.
  • He was the son of John Henkle of Lenham, Kent.2
  • John Hynckleye was overseer of the will of his brother Robert who died in 1522. The baptismal entries of this family may be found in the Parish Registers and Bishop's Transcripts at Harrietsham, which town lies next to Lenham and seven miles southeast of Maidstone. It contains a very ancient church, the earliest part of which is said to date from 1150. The old font, in which doubtless the Hinckley children were baptized was still in existence in 1911.3
  • John married Johane (?) as his first wife.2
  • John married Aves Eles on July 3, 1570, as his second wife.2
  • John Hynckleye was buried on June 25, 1577 in Harrietsham, Kent, England.1
