  • Deacon James Trowbridge was born on March 26, 1664 in New Haven, Connecticut, son of William and Elizabeth (Lamberton) Trowbridge.
  • James married on November 8, 1688 in New Haven, Connecticut, as his first wife, Lisa Alsop. They had in New Haven, James, 1689. The first wife died 6 May 1690.
  • James married on September 29, 1692 in New Haven, Connecticut, as his second wife, Esther How; and in Stratford, Isaac, 1693; Esther, 1694; and Mary, 1697. The second wife died in 1697.
  • James married Mary Belden, daughter of Daniel Belden and Elizabeth Foote, on April 19, 1698 in Wilton, Connecticut, as his third wife.
  • James died in May, 1732 in Wilton, Connecticut, at age 68.
