We have found no record of James marrying or the names of any children. However, David Rawson, his father, bequeathed a legacy to the heirs of his son James. David's will was made in 1828.2 - James died between 1819 and 1828.2

Bull Creek.2 - He first owned a horse mill and later secured steam power and ran a grist mill and saw mill combined. He bought 1,000 acres of land on Bonds Creek, which extended from the Ohio River to the Kanawha River. It is listed in Wood County Court House. They settled in Ellenboro, Ritchie County, Va. (now W.Va.) where they spent their entire married lives. In his will of Jan. 5, 1861 - probated Sept. 19, 1863, recorded in Ritchie County Court House (Will Book A, page 4) he left his property to the two nephews he had reared.2
- John died on June 22, 1861 in Ellenboro, Ritchie County, West Virginia.2
