John Thurston was born on December 13, 1656 in Medfield, Massachusetts.²
John married Hannah Cary, daughter of John Cary and Elizabeth Godfrey, on August 15, 1688 in Kittery, York County, Maine. As they are both described as being "of Kittery, " and yet were apparently residing in southern Massachusetts before and after marriage, I question this connection. This needs further research.¹
John died in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.²
