As of 1940, Charles L. Carey lived at 34 Parnell Ave., Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.¹

Charles died on August 31, 1940 at age 68.⁴

Edith May Carey was born about 1880 in South Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of Thomas W. and Mary Edith (Bigelow) Carey.²
Edith married Eugene Carroll Page, son of John J. Page Jr. and Climena Colby, on June 9, 1903 in Everett, Massachusetts, as his second wife. He was a plumber in Quincy, and she resided in Everett. They were married by John Ward Moore, of the Bunker Hill Baptist Church in Charlestown.²

They had a domestic servant, Ann E. Denlinger, 23. Also in the household was a bookkeeper, Frank F. Taylor, 21, from Pennsylvania.⁴
Edward married Emma (?) in 1898 or 1899.⁵
The census of 1910 shows: Edward M. Carey, 66, self employed; and Emma Carey, 49;
living at 900 Hammond Street, Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa.

Emily married Joseph N. March on December 25, 1871 in Wakefield, Massachusetts, They were married by Charles R. Bliss, of the Wakefield Congregational Church. Joseph was a salesman. They later divorced, and Joseph married Mary N. Davis. Emily kept her maiden name.^2,5
