  • Lt. Daniel Clark was born on February 4, 1743/44, son of Daniel and Martha (Redington) Clark.2
  • Lt. Daniel Clark was a tavern-keeper at Topsfield, Massachusetts, on the site that, in 1906, was John Bailey's grocery building, which his ancestors had occupied for nearly a century.1
  • Daniel married Hannah Perley, daughter of Moses Perley and Hannah Frye, on November 12, 1771.1
  • In 1784, Lt. Daniel Clark moved to Georgetown, Massachusetts.1
  • Daniel died on December 19, 1799 in Georgetown, Massachusetts, at age 55, in the house occupied in 1906 by T. G. Elliot. Lt. Clark's Georgetown home stood in the angle of Main and Library streets. He bought it from John Brockbank 17 Mar 1803 for $500.3

  • He was the son of Lt. Daniel Clark and Hannah Perley.1
  • Elijah married Sarah Parker.1
  • In 1800, Elijah Clark moved to Groveland, Massachusetts, where he was a shoe manufacturer and trader. During his trading journeys into Canada, although naturally strong, through fatigue and exposure, he contracted chronic rheumatism, which unfitted him for active service in later life.1
  • Elijah died on March 28, 1857 at age 78.1
