Daniel married Sarah Chapman, daughter of Joseph Chapman and Mary Perley, on March 21, 1800.¹
He married Lucy Perley, daughter of John Perley and Lydia Perley, on March 26, 1811 as his second wife, her second husband, and lived in Ipswich, Massachusetts.²
Daniel died on May 11, 1850 at age 75.³
He was buried in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown, Massachusetts, and his epitaph reads:—
