  • Daniel Cary was born on June 11, 1758.2
  • He was baptized on July 30, 1758 in the Fourth Church of Christ in Bridgewater, now the First Congregational Church, Brockton, Massachusetts.1
  • He was the son of Zachariah Cary and Susanna Bass.1
  • Daniel Cary was a major in militia ; resided for a time on his father's place, owned in 1866 by Rufus P. Kingman ; was one of the selectmen for a number of years, afterwards Justice of the Court of Sessions.3
  • He married Mehetabel Brett on May 14, 1778 in the Fourth Church of Christ in Bridgewater, now the Brockton, Massachusetts. (Intention not recorded.)4
