  • He was the son of Samuel Allen and Margaret French.2
  • Joseph married Ruth Leeds on January 30, 1671.4
  • On November 21, 1672, Margaret (French) Lamb Allen, widow and relict of Samuel Allen, late of Braintree, deceased, and Joseph Allen, her son, sold to Samuel Allen of Bridgewater, her son-in-law, twelve acres of land on the Monatticut (Monatiquot) River in Braintree.5
  • Joseph married Rebecca (?) as his second wife.4
  • Joseph married Lydia (?) on January 27, 1705 as his third wife, and her second husband.4
  • Joseph died on March 20, 1726/27 in Braintree, Massachusetts, at age 76.1
