  • Arthur C. Littlefield was born about 1882 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, son of Charles A. and Margaret A. (Knox) Littlefield.1
  • Arthur married Eva M. Farris, daughter of David G. Skillings and Susan B. Colby, on June 30, 1909 in Lowell, Massachusetts, as her second husband. He was a roll coverer in Lowell. They were married by Forrester A. McDonald, pastor of the Fifth Street [Baptist] Church.1
  • The census of 1910 shows: Arthur C. Littlefield, 26, roll coverer; and Eva M. Littlefield, wife, 40; listed with Gladys Farris
    living at 27 Fremont Street, Lowell, Massachusetts.
    Also living there was a roomer, Grace Cleeves, 26, a dressmaker.2

  • The Lowell City Directory from 1918 to 1920 lists:

  • The census of 1920 shows: Arthur Littlefield, 32, machinist in a machine shop; and Eva Littlefield, wife, 50; listed with Gladys Farris
    living at Lowell, Massachusetts.
    Also living there was his niece, Irene Farris, 13, attending school; and a roomer, Grace Cleaves, 26, a public school teacher.3
