- Mary Emily Allen was born on November 2, 1848 in Kentucky daughter of James Greene Allen and wife Clarinda Walker Wood Allen. They were the first permanent settlers in Eden Township, arriving by covered wagon from Casey County, Kentucky, with six month old Mary Emily.1,2,3
- Mary married James Andrew Webster, son of Hiram Webster and Hannah C. Elliot, on March 20, 1867.1
