Suzanna "Susan" Farwell was born on April 22, 1809 in Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts.
She was the daughter of Abraham Moors Farwell and Lydia Jackson.
Suzanna married Johnathan Davis.²
Suzanna married Ira Chamberlain of Hinsdale in 1830 by Rev. E. Going.¹
Suzanna died on April 7, 1884 in Ischua, Cattaraugus County, New York, at age 74 "...known of an illness of several weeks, most peacefully and happily in the Christian faith. She came to this country at the age of nine years with her parents, Mr. Abram Farwell and wife, and was married in 1830 by Rev. E. Going. She had been baptized previously by him and became a member of the Baptist church and remained such faithful and true to the end. She shared in all the toils and cares of pioneer life, and nobly sustained the relation of wife and mother and neighbor as well as a member of the church. Their golden wedding was celebrated in 1880. She leaves a bereaved husband and six sorrowing children and a very large circle of relatives to mourn her loss. Her funeral was largely attended. On the 10th inst. an impressive sermon was preached by the pastor Rev. M. Livermore and an address to friends by ex-pastor, R. Cherryman and her remains were tenderly deposited by the monument already prepared."¹
She was buried in Hinsdale Cemetery, Maplehurst, Cattaraugus County, New York.
