She was the daughter of Nathan Perley and Lydia Hale.¹
Lydia died on October 1, 1736 in Boxford, Massachusetts, during the prevalence of a terrible "pestilential distemper" from which "over 200 children under ten years of age died, in Haverhill alone, between Jan. 1, 1736 and Dec. 31, 1737."^3,4

Lydia Perley was born on May 13, 1741.¹
Lydia married John Perley, son of David Perley and Elizabeth Jewett, on September 21, 1767, owned the covenant of the Linebrook church 18 Dec 1768, where and when his first daughter was baptised. The rest of their children were also baptised there.²
Lydia died on August 10, 1804 at age 63 of scarlet fever and throat distemper
