Horace A. Sawyer, 38, a cooper with $2300 real estate and $300 personal estate; and
Sarah H. Sawyer, 35;
living at Lynn, Massachusetts.⁴
He was a Civil War Veteran, Co. E, 2nd Mass. Hvy. Arty. member of General Lander G.A.R. Post #5, Lynn, Mass.⁵
Walter married H. Abbie Weston on September 25, 1872 in Lynn, Massachusetts. He was a shoemaker. They were married by George W. Perry, of the Second Universalist Church.⁶
In 1897, he was a salesman.⁷
Walter died on December 3, 1897 in Lynn, Massachusetts, at age 48 of heart disease.⁷
He was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, Massachusetts.⁵
