  • Deborah Spalding was born on September 12, 1667 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. An item in her father’s will was: ‘I also will that in the space of six months after my decease my son Edward pay to my daughter Deborah Manning the summ of five pounds….’.1
  • Deborah married Samuel Manning Jr., son of Samuel Manning and Elizabeth Stearns.1
  • Deborah died on August 8, 1727 in Windham, Connecticut, at age 59.1
  • She and Samuel Manning Jr. were buried in Palmer Burying Ground of Scotland Society . Her gravestone says she died in her 63d year, whereas, if the record of her birth is correct, she was two years younger.1
