Thomas Hale was baptized on June 15, 1606 in Watton-at-Stone, Hertfordshire, England.¹
He was the son of Thomas Hale and Joan Kirby.¹
Thomas married Thomasine Dowsett, daughter of Gabriel Dowsett and Mercy (?), on December 11, 1632 in St Helen's Bishopsgate, London, Middlesex, England.²
He heads the list of the selectmen chosen there in 1646. In 1647 he was appointed to try small cases, and in 1648 to keep a ferry. In 1659 his name appears on a list of glovers in Salem, Massachusetts.³
Thomas died on January 30, 1681/82 in Newbury, Massachusetts, at age 75.⁴
He and Thomasine Dowsett were buried in First Burying Ground, Newbury, Massachusetts.⁵

He was the son of Henry Hale and Sarah Kelly.¹
Thomas married Abigail Pillsbury on January 12, 1726/27.¹
On 3 Nov 1761, Thomas Hale of Newbury, yeoman, made his will, proved 15 April, 1765, by which he gave all his estate to his "son-in-law Edmund Pillsbury." This would indicate that his daughter Martha was his only surviving child, that very probably her sister Sarah had left a child, who was represented by its father, and that probably Abigail (Pillsbury), wife of Thomas Hale, was not living.³

Thomas Hale was born on November 16, 1731 in what was then known as Haverhill, Mass but on the running of the State line in 1740 was found to be in New Hampshire; this part then known as Haverhill District, N. H till 1749, when it was incorporated as Plaistow. In 1769 the easterly portion, including the homestead of Thomas Hale, was set off as Atkinson.²
He was the son of Thomas Hale and Mary Smith.¹
Thomas married Mehitable Kimball about 1755.²
Thomas died probably in 1756.²
