Amos married Betsey Duncklee, daughter of Stephen Duncklee and Kezia Colby, on July 16, 1816 in Comcord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. They were married by Rev. Asa McFarland.³
In 1842, Amos Morgan was a member of the legislature.¹
The census of 1850 shows: Asa Morgan, 58, a farmer with $2000 real estate; and Mary Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Morgan, 55; listed with George Morgan, Cyrus Morgan, Betsy R. Morgan, Asa Morgan, Nancy D. Morgan, Lucy A. Morgan and Louisa H. Morgan

living at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

living at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁴
The census of 1870 shows: Willowby Colby, 75, without occupation, with $2000 real estate and $650 personal estate; and Betsey Colby, 68, without occupation; listed with Irad Colby, Aruba Colby, Georgia Colby, Anna Colby and Amos Colby
living at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
Not listed in the family was Hamilton Morgan Parker, illeged son of Irad and Azubia. Instead, Anna is listed, listed as being the same age as Hamilton.⁵
Betsey M. Morgan was buried in Alexander Cemetery, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, along with Williby Colby.⁶
