Arvilla married Charles Smith in March, 1897 in Santa Cruz County, California.¹
Arvilla died on May 18, 1924 in Santa Cruz County, California, at age 81.⁵

Caleb Swan¹

b. August 1, 1803, d. November 10, 1867

Caleb Swan was born on August 1, 1803, son of Joseph F. and Jane (Osgood) Swan.¹
He married Apphia Smith, daughter of Isaiah Smith and Mary Chapman, on December 22, 1836 and lived in Fryeburg, Oxford County, Maine.¹
The spring of 1848, Caleb Swan and Apphia Smith moved to Waterford, Oxford County, Maine.¹
Caleb died on November 10, 1867 at age 64 of paralysis of the brain, without issue.¹
