  • Moses Swett was born on September 16, 1661 in Newbury, Massachusetts.2,3
  • He was the son of Capt. Benjamin Swett and Hester Weare.1
  • Moses married Mary Hussey on May 12, 1687.4
  • In 1722 he drew a half share in the fifth division in right of Richard Swain.5
  • His will, made 15 of April, 1719, when he was "sick of body, sound of mind," proved 19 January 1731, names wife Mary, eldest daughter Elizabeth (wife of Nathaniel Hall) deceased daughters Mary Swain, Esther Hoeg, son Daniel, daughter Deliverance Coleman, Theodat Purington, son Stephen and daughters Phebe Purington, Huldah Coleman, and Patience.6
