Muriel Frances Colby instituted the School Lunch Program for the Bow School District. She served on the School Board, Town Budget Committee, Bow Memorial School Building Committee, and was Supervisor of the Checklist.
Muriel died on November 14, 1993 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 80.
She and William T. Howard were buried in Alexander Cemetery on River Road, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

Natalie married Willis Charles Hendrick on June 6, 1936 in Los Angeles County, California.³
Natalie died on January 14, 1992 in Los Alamitos, Orange County, California, at age 79.⁴

Nathaniel Colby was born on July 28, 1798 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.²
He was the son of Archelaus Colby and Jemima Johnson.¹
Nathaniel married Hepsibeth Woodbury, daughter of Hazadiah Woodbury Jr. and Hepzibah Colby, on August 2, 1827. They were fourth cousins.³
Nathaniel Colby and Moses W. Woodbury were members of about 1847 The Methodist Society was formed.⁴
The census of 1850 shows: Nathl. Colby, 51, a farmer with $2,000 real estate; and Hepsibeth Colby, 46; listed with Alfred W. Colby, James W. Colby, Elizabeth Ann Colby, Nathl. J. Colby, Lyman W. Colby and Moses N. Colby
living at Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁵
Said to be "a respectable, well-to-do farmer," he was elected selectman several times, and in 1851 was reurned to the Legislature.⁶
The census of 1860 shows: Nathaniel Colby and Hepsibeth Woodbury listed with Nathaniel J. Colby, Lyman W. Colby and Moses N. Colby
living at Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁷
